“2nd visit”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

Second visit to this hotel and again had a comfortable stay. Changing room wasn't a problem at all and staff were very friendly about this.

Nice, large room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, lots of parking and a good pool/spa/gym. Public areas clean. Good breakfast, no happy shopper ypghurts here!

Had booked direct with hotel and didn't realise free newspapers were thrown in which made for a pleasant surprise at check out!

Great place to base yourself.

Room Tip: 260 and 265 are at back so no road noise if that bothers you.

We stayed at the Rembrandt overnight in April. We booked online and received a reasonable rate. Service was very efficient and welcoming. Room was clean, bathroom was very big only downside was the room being a tad cold and the heating not being on. Breakfast, which was included in the rate, had a large variety and Cooked to a good standard. I would like to praise the gentleman that appeared to be in charge in the restaurant. He was extremely courteous, professional and efficient.

Great place to stay, will be using again on our next trip to Weymouth.

We stayed at the Hotel Rembrandt-Weymouth,over the last Easter weekend.
From the welcome at reception to the time of our leaving a problem to us was no problem to any of the staff.
A very well run establishment, friendly efficient staff. lovely clean rooms, nicely cleaned by the bedroom section.
Food was wonderful.catering for all tastes if you have eating problem talk to the Chefs
The restaurant waiters and waitresess were very good neat and tidy, well turned out.
Would certainly suggerst it to family and friends for a holiday visit to stay,we would have no problem staying again.
Pat and Brian Collyer.Kingston,Surrey.

Room Tip: Rooms on the Southside were quieter, but no one we spoke to complained about any noise.

Two night stay with girlfriend over Bank Holiday weekend. Hotel needs upgrade & the room we stayed in (232) was so small there was no room for bedside table on one side as the wall was in the way. Should definitely be a single room. Breakfast was fine but I felt I was in my works canteen! - But food was fine. Didn't have an evening meal. On this experience I wouldn't stay at this hotel if staying in Weymouth again. I've stayed in about a dozen Best Western Hotels before & this is my first negative review.

Less favourable reviews of this hotel made me wary and so I visited and saw the room rather than booking online. It took only a few seconds in the immaculately clean and well appointed room to realise that this hotel has been the victim of the tripadvisor glitterati who take delight in spreading untruths.
The truth is there is nothing to fear and we as a family of 4 had a great overnight stay on 21st April 2014.
The swimming pool was good and the attendant especially helpful even lending me a pound for lockers to save me having to go back to our room. The steam room was good and sauna OK.
Reception staff, (the lovely Amy) were excellent and all breakfast staff were both efficient and friendly. The food at breakfast was equally good.
Safe and plenty of well lit car parking to the rear.
We will visit again and hope that the more moronic trip advisor contingent go elsewhere to get a life and give this place a miss, leaving it those of us who appreciate care and effort.
Thank you Rembrandt..
