This is a great hotel with the beach over the road just a few minutes walk.
Staff were excellent and helpful as usual, we needed more milk for tea / coffee we got that straight away !
We visited in June and it was very warm outside, hence our room was at times uncomfortably hot, housekeeping had put fans on in the rooms and closed the curtains, so they did their best to make it cooler for guests, but this did spoil our stay a bit :( We told the receptionist about our concerns and she told us Air conditioning is on it's way !
Our other concern is small corridors in Premier inns and walking for ages trying to get out, maybe a side door with a lock >?
Just a suggestion !

Room Tip: If you go in the summer call to ask if they have the air conditioning yet ?

My wife & I enjoyed our stay, with a few minor faults at the premier inn.
The staff were very courteous & helpful at all times.
We just wished the room staff could have made sure that everything was needed was in the room, instead of us having to go downstairs to reception to ask for these shortages to be corrected.

Just returned from a weekend stay at this Premier Inn and was quite disappointed.
Last year we stayed in the brand new Premier inn Weymouth which is slightly further away.
That was very nice as it was brand new but thought we would try this one for the better position.
First impressions was not good. We waited quite a while as it was busy at check in at 2pm with only one receptionist for a while. We were then checked in by a lovely young lady.
I had rung and requested a high floor quiet room and we did get that.
Unfortunately when booking this hotel I didn't realise there was no air con in the room. I had read reviews about this and was slightly concerned but we booked on a saver rate so would not have been able to change it anyway.
Walking to the room I was surprised to see the carpets especially on the stairs very messy. Not the best impressions.
When entering the room the heat did hit you as it was a very warm weekend. The hotel had tried their best in cooling the rooms by leaving the fans on, windows open and a sheet on the bed if you wanted to change the bedding but Im afraid the rooms at night was very uncomfortable and did not get the best sleep. I am shocked really that there is no air con but think I had heard that it might be installed.
There was not as many tv channels as most Premier Inns which again was disappointing.
The hotel has a decent car park with free parking.
It takes about 25 mins to walk to the harbour.
Unfortunately we did not have the best stay with little sleep so because of the situation will not stay again at this Premier Inn unless air con was installed.

Expensive for a budget hotel, paid £110 for one night but over all a good stay. Clean and good location.
Friendly staff, room was a little too hot as we couldn't turn down the heating it would only let us turn it up higher. If I found a better deal on the write i would stay there again.
