This property is in an ideal location for exploring South Dorset and further afield by car.
An added bonus is its situation within about 3 minutes walk to a coastal path.[ great views and sea air]
We found the house neat, tidy and comfortable.
It was well equipped for our needs.
In short we would return without hesitation.
Not a bad little cottage & a good location.
Just a few points that need improvement.
Garden could do with a clean up & the garden furniture is rusty & unusable.
Shower only runs tepid water, needs updating.
Cottage could do with a deep clean, cobwebs & lot of dust in corners of rooms.
Owner has his phone turned off & is slow to answer emails.
Off road parking
Good public transport
We really love this holiday cottage, unfortunately I fell on rocks in the little bay nearby the day we arrived so had to go to Dorchester hospital. The locals and the hospital were fab but had to travel home when able.I phoned Joe to explain and along with his good wishes he has offered a discount when next we stay which we will certainly will.Clean comfy ,well equipped, parking lovely spot but be careful if you decide to climb the rocks when you are over a certain age like me
Moonfleet Cottage is situated in a very nice location with a short coastal walk to Weymouth.
Very clean and airy and very well equipped cottage, and very clear notes provided to ensure a comfortable stay.
Great communication with Joe, the owner.
