Visited today (End Oct 2017) after a long morning walk with our daughter and dog! A very warm welcome from the chap behind the bar (I think he was the owner) and after grabbing a table outside we were quickly given water and a treat for the dog. We only had a simple lunch (baguettes and chips) but it was absolutely spot on, and the rest of the menu looked great... proper traditional pub grub. Hospitality was fantastic from the moment we got there, and we’ll definitely visit again next time we’re in the area. A really traditional pub with a warm welcome. Loved it!

This must be the friendliest pub I have ever been in. Had a great well cooked meal in there. Was on a short break had been there about 15 years ago it was still a great pub.

Food was of a good standard and of good value however felt like we had stepped back in the the 1980’s and felt rather uncomfortable having a drink while waiting for the restaurant to open. Got the impression that the locals do not like the intrusion of tourists from neighbouring caravan park.

We found this restaurant by chance on our way back to our hotel. The food was lovely and we had the homemade cottage pie which was delicious. I had the homemade ginger and lemon cheesecake for dessert which was one of the tastiest I've had! Would definitely visit again when we stay in Weymouth.
