We have just returned from a few days break at the Greenwood, where we have stayed several times due to Angela and Sharon being first class hosts and their very high standards of comfort and cleanliness. As always we had a very warm welcome where you are treated as friends and not just guests. Sharon and Angela always try and make your holiday that little bit more special by giving you ideas of what to do and where to go during your stay. If you have a sense of humour and look at the lighter side of life then this is the place to go. Ideal location if you do not have a car Holland Road is only ten minutes from the station by taxi.

Room Tip: Very good breakfast and off-road parking

We have stayed at this B & B many times over the past few years and can honestly say that i would never stay anywhere else in Weymouth. We have got to know the owners very well, who are extremely helpful and considerate and run a brilliant B & B. We always have the same room as it caters for all our needs. The breakfast is exceptional and cater for any requirement. The B & B is close to the harbour and about 10 mins walk to the shops and beach, everything at close reach, no need for the car !

Room Tip: Room 4 we always have

My boyfriend and I chose this B&B based on the good reviews we had read on this site. We arrived later than expected due to being help up, but the owner, Sharon, gave us a very warm welcome. As we were the only guests in for the weekend, she very kindly upgraded us to the biggest room, for no extra charge. The room was spacious and nicely decorated and was spotlessly clean. Bed linen was also lovely and fresh and we both enjoyed a high quality, fresh breakfast on both mornings. Sharon was so helpful in giving us advice on the area and where to visit and to eat in the evening. We followed her advice and read the guides and maps she lent us, and saw some amazing sights followed by a beautiful meal in a fantastic French restaurant ('The Crow's Nest' ) which was the perfect birthday meal for me! This guest house is a little gem and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sharon and Angela!

We stayed here in September 2008 & 2010 and on both occasions had a lovely time. The B&B is situated a short easy walk from the town, beach and harbour with, whilst being along a peaceful side street. All rooms are very clean, tidy and pleasantly decorated. Breakfast was delicious with all my requests catered for. Parking was fine with a space always available. Wil definatly stay here again in the future. Thank you.

My partner and I stayed here on the basis of the trip advisor reviews during the bank holiday weekend and we we were not disappointed! On our arrival we were met by the owners who had made sure they were in especially so that they could meet and greet us, which was a nice touch. The owner made us feel very welcome and gave us a rundown of the local area and all the nice restaurants, the room was very clean and we had a nice view of the garden. The beds were comfortable even if we were a tad late in booking and we ended up with a twin room (the owner had very kindly pushed them together for us). The breakfasts were well cooked (to order as well, my pregnant girlfriend had to have her eggs well done) and I would strongly recommend the homemade jam! The location was good, it was about a 15 minute walk to the beach but you could make it a 30 minute walk and have a nice walk around the marina. If your looking for a friendly, comfortable B n B I could not recommend Greenwood enough!

Highly recommended. After visiting The Greenwood Guest House for the past four years we find the high standard never falters. Sharon and Angela make us feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble, rooms are spotless and food is great. There's car parking too. Excellent value for money. Town centre and beach is a 5 minute walk away. The Greenwood Guest House is always our first choice when visiting Weymouth and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Weymouth for a short or long stay.
