“Best BnB in Weymouth - Fantastic stay!!”
Reviewed 29 September 2012

This was our fourth year in a row to Greenwood Guest House. We love Weymouth and staying at this BnB, because everything about it is simply wonderful. Sharon and Angela are so warm, friendly and welcoming. On arrival we were treated to a lovely cuppa in the beautiful garden and Sharon's homemade chocolate brownie which was delicious. Our room was beautifully clean as always and the full english breakfast is a great start to the day, with as much tea, coffee and toast that you could ask for. There is also plenty of cereal and fruit on offer too. Angela and Sharon cannot do enough for you, and are always there to help if your not sure where to visit in Weymouth or Portland and are looking for ideas of where to go or directions. If you are looking to staying in Weymouth, you will honestly not find anywhere as wonderful as Greenwood Guest House. You will not be disappointed and will want to go back again and again. Thank you Sharon and Angela, see you both next year xx

After yet another great visit to Weymouth, have to thank Ange and Sharon for (what we have come to expect as) the usual fantastic time. Good to see Sharon back on form after her recent illness (and ready to talk share-dealing with the best of them, especially with a coffee after breakfast!!)....... Everything up to the standard we have come to expect, and hospitality second to none. Already booked for the next two visits! Thanks ladies, and enjoy your well-deserved break. :-)

Very clean, friendly and the girls cannot do enough to accommodate. Great location, only 10 min amble into town and the sea front. I would highly recommend :) A lovely full English brekkie too, with all the trimmings. Many thanks for an excellent stay.

We found this guest house at quite short notice and were impressed by the reviews. We were not disappointed and really enjoyed our break over the bank holiday weekend. Sharon and Angela were warm and welcoming and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The tea and cakes on arrival were very welcome, the room was spotless and the breakfasts wonderful. They were full of information about the local area and nothing was too much trouble for them.We will be recommending them to friends and family.

Greenwood Guest House is a gem. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous and the owners take helpfulness and kindness to a new level. The rooms are clean and cosy and Sharon is a mine of information on everything local. Not sure what to do today? Trust her suggestions: you won't be disappointed. We would recommend it wholeheartedly.

We badly needed a break, decided on Weymouth, trawled the web and discovered Greenwood.
Sharon, Angela and Andy were very warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Special needs were graciously accommodated. The variety of delicious breakfasts was amazing. Our en-suite was clean, cosy, bright and airy and there was always an array of teas, coffees and biscuits waiting for us in our room after a long days walk or drive exploring the beautiful Jurassic Coast. Plenty of informative literature was available in our room and there was always someone available to give us direction, advice or answer questions. Greenwood is conveniently placed within easy walking distance of all the big-name shops, the Marina, the beach, eating places and the not-to-miss Rodwell Trail so we did not always need the car for which safe off-road parking was provided - that was a bonus! We were relaxed, met lovely people, had lots of laughs and a lovely stay. Thank you, from the heart, for everything!

My wife and I wanted to get a few days away for our anniversary, and with a small budget we didn't think we would anywhere as nice as the Greenwood, especially as it was still an Olympic weekend. On our arrival, Sharon bought us tea and cake in the garden and chatted to us about our journey down. Sharon and Angela (and Andy) not only made us very welcome, but put an Anniversary card on the breakfast table for us the first breakfast of our stay. The room was lovely with all the required bits'n'bobs that make a stay enjoyable, the en-suite was light and airy. As you would expect, tea and coffee in the room, lots of space for your clothes, and lots of information about the Guesthouse and the surrounding places to visit on the dressing table. Parking on the front is available and there is plenty of room for upto four vehicles. The breakfast was excellent with loads of choice, and plenty of tea! The walk to the seafront is only about 10 minutes at a saunters pace, so wasn't always necessary to take the car 'down-town'. We could come and go to suit our timetable, and had a thoroughly great stay. I highly recommend the Greenwood to all, you won't be disappointed... both my wife and I wish we could've stayed longer.

Room Tip: It's a quiet cul-de-sac, so road noise is not an issue. The shops close-by are unobtrusive and y...
