“Excellent property, location etc”

Visited for 6 days in March, after an initial problem getting in, the letting agents did not give us the full codes required for the gate and neglected to give us the key safe code! (no fault of the owners!) this place delivered on all counts!
Location - 5* It is located in a gated cul de sac, v quiet but with a very short walk to Weymouth harbor with shops and bars etc- Very close to Nothe Gardens which is a very pleasant walk etc.
Cleanliness -5* Excellent everything was spotless
Facilities - 5* building is 3 story with the huge lounge on the top floor together with the well equipped kitchen and separate utility room with washer and separate dryer. Second floor has the huge master bedroom and a second large bedroom both of which are ensuite but there is access to the second bedroom's bathroom from the landing. Ground floor has two smaller bedrooms and a larger bathroom which is accessible from the corridor. The only down points are the outside space is small and decking and there is only freeview tv, lots of tVs and kiddies stuff !
Owner 5* extremely helpful and quick to sort out the problem on arrival and a small problem with a CO2 alarm!
Price 5* - exceptional value off season
All in all I would be happy to recommend this property to anyone !

“Great location”

Booked this for 4 adults, two teenagers and a four year old. The accommodation is split over three floors which you get used to. Bedrooms are on the ground and first floor and there are three bathrooms in the house.

The top floor living space is fantastic with views of the area and great to cook, eat and socialise together.

The house has everything you need for your stay especially if you have smaller children with travel cots, high chair, plastic cups and plates etc. There are also books, DVDs and games for all ages plus a handy guide to the area pack.

The owner/company have really gone the extra mile with the welcome hamper with local products and just what you'd need for a drink and snacks if you've not yet been to the shop.

Nearby is the Nothe Tavern which is great for drinks - didn't eat there as nothing on the menu for our children - what they served looked great.

Short walk to the harbour via the steps just on from the pub or down a snicket heading the other way into the square where there are more bars and restaurants. From there it's a walk over the bridge to the main town or beach.

The location is quiet as it's away from the main town but still near enough to walk too.

so you don't have to drive around looking and paying for parking. The location is also good for getting out of town.

We ordered a supermarket delivery and a takeaway and both arrived without too much problem - the sat navy doesn't really take you to the house as it's a relative new build next to the Sea Cadets buildings.

Great place to stay.

“Slighly Dissapointed”
Reviewed 2 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Great location for Harbour and beach being walking distance even for young children. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Park close by for the children to burn off a little energy and walk round the Nothe Fort area.
Accommodation found to be noisy when occupants move around the 2nd floor if someone sleeping on 1st floor rooms.
Good selection of toys etc. for the children.
Small oven on cooker not working.
Bed linen in some rooms showing signs of wear with buttons on duvet missing.
Some areas not as clear as would expect for this priced accommodation.

“Perfect, just perfect!”

Visiting Weymouth for my sons wedding, we wanted to be near to the church and the Nothe Fort where the reception was being held. Nothe View was 'slap bang' in the middle of the two!. This lovely property was a leisurely walk to both.
My party consisted of, 6 adults, a 14 year old, 10 yo and a 19 month old. Everything was of a really high standard and had every utensil, crockery, pots and pans that you would ever need!
A real nice touch was the toys in the garage, which my 19 month old grandaughter made use of. The cupboard in the lounge was full of books, games for the children and adults.
The linen was of a very good quality and the beds very comfortable and at night it was so quiet.
The guest book had lots of complimentary comments. We would love to return to this lovely house.

“Lovely house in a great location”
Reviewed 9 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Our family of 5 stayed here in the august bank holiday week. The house is beautifully positioned between Nothe fort and the vibrant Brewers Quay area of Weymouth, which is just 10 or so minutes stroll from Weymouth town Centre and the sea front.
Nothe view is a modern house set over 3 floors; upside down in that the bedrooms are on the ground and first floor with lounge, dining area and kitchen on the top floor. It has flexible accommodation all of which was of lovely quality and well thought out. Great extras such as beach toys and a cupboard full of games, books and dvds make this very much a home from home.
My only small moan would be a little more attention could be paid to cleaning and maintenance; whilst clean throughout, the lounge carpets are showing signs of big spillages and the tv was covered in little hand prints, which I wouldn't expect for 5 star rating and accompanying price.
That aside it's a lovely, we'll equipped contemporary house in a great position and we wouldn't hesitate in returning.

Many thanks for your feedback regarding Nothe View. We are delighted to hear that you had a great stay in Weymouth. We have passed your comments regarding the carpet onto the owner for their consideration and they have advised that steps will be taken to replace the carpet as soon as the property becomes available following the busy season. We hope to see you again soon. Blue Chip Holidays
