“Fabulous location”
Reviewed 24 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Had a lovely stay. We parked up the car on the harbour and didn't get in it again until we set off for home.
Fabulous location - views of the harbour gorgeous both day and night. Loads to do in Weymouth and staying on the harbour made everything very special. Some lovely cafes and restaurants close by and you have got to take a RIB ride!
Would definitely do it all over again.

“Lovely character cottage in an amazing location!”
Reviewed 9 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The cottage is great, clean and spacious. The location is second to none with fantastic views over the harbour and Trinity Bridge. We spent a lot of time watching the boats go by and crabbing on the harbour wall right outside the property. A lovely 15 minute stroll takes you over the bridge into the shopping area and onto the beach. Scott, the property owner, was really helpful and always responded to any questions we had straight away. There was a parking permit for one car which we parked on the harbour outside the property. We managed to get some free on road parking for a few days and paid £8 a day at the Nothe Fort car park for a couple of days. We'd happily stay here again!

“Great Holiday House”
Reviewed 31 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The house is a spacious and charming original fishing cottage type building, with wooden floors fully fitted kitchen, modernised but kept its original charm like the harbour itself, plenty of sleeping space and two living rooms for a bit of peace and quiet away from the kids! Great location overlooking harbour and 15 minutes pleasant stroll to beach, very close to good pubs, restaurants, fish and chip shops and boat trips and 10 yards away from crab fishing off the harbour! A short 10 min walk the other way away from town is the fort museum up on the hill in a nice park with playground and picnic area, worth a visit or two. The location is also great because its well away from any busy traffic so slightly older kids can roam free out of the front door without any worries. No need for cars in fact, you can come by train, £5 taxi from station or 15 min walk. Owner very helpful and gets straight back to you. Only thing it needs is wi-fi which is coming soon apparently. We all loved it!

“A cute house in a perfect location with a lovely view!”
Reviewed 25 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed here for a girly weekend over the May bank holiday and really enjoyed ourselves. The house is set in a lovely spot, located only a small walk away from the town and a step away from the harbour.

Everything was there that we needed and the upstairs lounge area overlooking the harbour was a bonus.

There is plenty to do - we went on a speed boat ride, played crazy golf and explored all the nice coffee shops and pubs.

Whilst the kitchen is fully equipped we opted to save ourselves the cooking so ate out at the Stables above the Habour Master which was very nice indeed.

Thank you for having us and we will recommend your property :)

P.s. Bennett's Fish & Chips is also a must!!

Liked best: The location and the decoration of the property. There are also plenty of plug sockets which was very useful
Liked least: Downstairs shower was small but not an issue at all as there are 2 bathrooms anyway
