Stayed for a four day break, arrived at reception staff were friendly and check in was quick and easy, apartment was excellent a home from home, spacious, lovely kitchen and bathrooms , well equipped. Washer/ dryer provided dish washer etc, everything was spotless credit to the cleaning staff , lovely balcony outside looking out on the Marina ,
Restaurant and bar were ok only had a drink. The only let down would be the loud mouth family that let their children roam the marina late at night on their own by water one was about five years old , while the parents got drunk and played loud music very late, but apart from these ignorant people, the place is fab close to Bowness which is lovely. Will diffently be back

Came here by accident - our plan A holiday cottage was so awful we moved out and the local tourist information recommended here.

Basically it is smart self catering with hotel-like levels of service. It’s all very clean and modern. You have a bar and restaurant which is decent (and had a surprising selection of real ales), and a pleasant walk over a meadow or along the lake to get to Bowness. There’s also the use of a gym and pool off site.

We were in room 51 which was a beautiful top floor duplex flat with three bedrooms. It took our dog and was spacious and comfortable with a modern kitchen and tasteful furnishings etc. It had a massive balcony overlooking the marina.

If I had a mild criticism which stopped me giving five blobs, it would be that it is quite close to the restaurant which hosts wedding parties almost daily. There is a bit of noise and cigarette smoke which is usually over by 11. The flats below us (45 and 49 I think) would get it worse. Worth checking before you book. On the upside, getting a decent pint on my balcony was the work of minutes....

So I’d definitely return, but if I could I’d be more tactical in my choice of apartment.

This is a well placed venue for most families, couples or those with dogs wanting a central point to cover the Lakes. The properties are clean and well fitted out. There is a good restaurant and bar although the bar menu is restricted & a little expensive. Rebuilding work means the venue in places looks a little less attractive than normal & restricts getting around the marina but if you can accept this then it's still a good venue to use.

Spent the weekend in the penthouse suite (number 43) with the whole family. An amazing place with fantastic facilities. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Our son brought his boat up and we arranged with reception to have it launched and moored in the marina. The boatyard closed at 5.30pm but was opened up especially for us, by Andrew, when they arrived at 6.30pm.
It was wonderful to go out on the lake and then come back in wet and 10 of us all disappear for showers. Five bathrooms for 10 people is amazing.
The whole place is beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly wish for.
We had a fabulous weekend with an age range of 72 down to 9 years old and every one thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Room Tip: All rooms have marina views.

This is a spacious 3 bed, 3 bath property that has been refurbished recently. Well equipped kitchen, a smart tv and private WiFi so good signal. Loved the powered recliner on the new sofa and the super king size bed in bed 3. Quiet location but easy walk to Bowness for lively pubs restaurants and shops. The Boathouse bar and restaurant on site served good food and some good draft beers. A great place - we will be back
