We went to The Lakes for 2 day and decided to stay longer. We found Blenheim Lodge through the Tourist Info and were Very warmly welcomed! Janz was happy to help us and answer any questions we had about the area and activities. Our room was warm, clean and had a lovely view of the lake. The breakfast had a selection of cereals and hot food. At our first breakfast we requested lemon and honey (for our morning cup of tea) and the following days it was on the table for us without any further request...
We had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return.

Thank you so much for writing such a lovely review. It was no trouble at all getting you the honey and lemon for your tea. When our guests make specific and reasonable requests like yours, even though we might not have the goods to hand at that time, we will always make the effort to meet their requirements. For example, we had one guest who became ill suddenly from a frequent complaint of hers and she required a hot water bottle to sooth the pain away. We did not have one, but went out to buy one for her to use, and that helped her recover, which made us feel pleased that the effort was worthwhile.

So happy that you enjoyed staying with us, and liked your room so much as well as the wonderful views from it. We enjoyed having you both here and hope that we might have the pleasure of having you back again with us in the near future. Certainly we did very much enjoy the laughter and chats we shared.

My husband and I stayed two nights with Janz and Robert. I chose the lodge for the view, but was very happy with the very comfy bed, and the scrambled eggs, the best I have ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even though the weather was cool, the reception was very warm and welcoming. Thanks to our great hosts.

Room Tip: Chose the room with the four poster bed, it is the best

1 word amazing!!
I surprised my girlfriend with a night in the lakes. Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome by Janz the hostess and she surprised us with an upgrade of rooms! We saw both rooms and both were beautiful and cosy. A few reasons why I choose Blenheim Lodge:
*Room: Antique 4 poster bed and the most stunning panorama view over WIndermere + the mattresses are out of this world! SO COMFY! + the room was very clean and tidy.
*Location: NOT on the main road, so NO traffic noise and very peaceful, and only a 5 minute (if that) to the main road with shops and many restaurants to choose from. The walk is up a hill, otherwise there wouldn't be a stunning view either! But nothing to steep and its only a few minutes.
*Style: The rooms have been decorated in a style that benefits the age of the 19th century home, bit of a time travel, There is lots of antique furniture, yet the bathrooms are modern and very clean
*Food: Breakfast was scrummy! Fresh and local and if not enough you can always get more!
*ADDED BONUS: Free access to the country club just down the road!

All in all a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to anybody looking for the above, I hope to stay again!....

After a pleasant stay last summer, my daughter booked at trip for me and my husband for our birthdays. We really enjoyed our stay and we cannot fault Bleinheim lodge at all. Janz and Robert were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. The location was ideal and the views were stunning. The room was very clean and pleasant. We throughly enjoyed the breakfast and this was the perfect way to start the day. We will definetly return to Bleinheim Lodge and would recommend it to family and friends.

We've recently enjoyed a long wknd at Blenheim Lodge, our stay was very relaxing. The b&b is situated in a beautiful spot, the views from our room were breathtaking. Our room was very pleasant and tastefully furnished, it was warm and comfortable and above all spotlessly clean.Janz and Robert were extremely friendly and welcoming, we changed our booking twice and Janz was very patient and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious using fresh local produce where possible and once again Janz and Robert couldn't have been more helpful adapting to people's different choices and needs. Overall our stay was superb and we cannot fault Blenheim Lodge, we look forward to returning soon and will recommend Blenheim Lodge to our friends and family. Sarah and Steve.

Room Tip: Speak to Janz and she will help you to choose a room to suit your needs with a superb view.

I very much enjoyed my recent weekend at Blenheim Lodge. Robert and Janz looked after us so well. I will definitely return before too long. The location was ideal for local trips with great scenery. Lots of interesting places to visit and explore.

We stayed at Blenheim Lodge for three nights, in the 'Blue Room'.
Found this b&b by chance on laterooms and decided to book once we had checked out the hotels website.
We had a terrible time driving from our home to the lakes due to severe weather, so we rang ahead to say we'd be very late!
The lady in charge welcomed us and got us settled in after our rough journey, sitting with us for a chat whilst she made us tea.
First impressions of the room were good and we immediately noticed how spotlessly clean everything was. The bed was comfy, and extra blankets were available if we'd needed them.
The decor, I thought, was lovely. The 'Laura Ashley' prints and fabrics really suited the age of the house, and, having worked myself in Laura Ashley, I knew just how much time and money will have been spent on dressing the houses huge windows!
Breakfast was good and the owners made sure we left feeling full!
There was a very steep hill to get to the house from the town, but, it only took a few minutes. We liked the fact the hotel was 'up and out of the way', because it was quiet and had good views.
Overall we had a really good break, despite the awful weather.
Would stay here again :)
