With a wide selection of freshly baked breads, rolls & baton's along with our fresh sandwich and salad bar, and our signature freshly baked pies, pasties and slices we're a perfect stop for a bite to eat on the go. But if you'd like to take a break, our stunning Tea Room with table service is welcoming, friendly and packs a punch of a menu whether it's just a drink and cake / cream scone or something more - with all day Breakfast Grills, a choice of freshly prepared Sandwiches & Soups, Jacket Potato's, homemade Quiche, our famous Rarebit and much more! And our Little B's menu has plenty for younger appetites! And of course - our famous 3 tier Traditional Lakeland Afternoon Tea is a firm favourite. So whatever you fancy - we've always something tempting at Bryson's. We look forward to seeing you.

“Topping little cafe”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Stopped here for a quick lunch while in the town. I had a delicious warm cheese scone, my 2 daughters went for some scrummy cakes and my husband had the most amazing Welsh rarebit we've ever tasted! Highly recommended! Great staff too.

“Friendly, flexible. Go for the bacon sarnie rather than the pastries”
Reviewed 13 April 2014 via mobile

Piled in here on a drizzly morning for breakfast. Had a lovely bacon bap, but the croissants/pastries were - being honest - a bit on the dry side. Could do with bigger mugs for coffee with breakfast.
The staff were friendly, accommodating and flexible when we all wanted different things and asked quite a few questions about options on the menu. Think we might try this place again when we come back to Bowness.

“We call in here on each trip.”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

We call into this tea room on every trip to Windermere. Its lovely to go upstairs away from the hustle and bustle of the town and relax for awhile. We have always found the staff to be friendly and attentive. We partner usually has a pot of tea, while I have the Hot Chocolate with cream! The toasted cheese scones, are the best I've had for a long time!! This time I had the Rarebit....it was huge!!! But nice :D We have booked our forthcoming wedding in Windermere, so I think there will be plenty more visits in the coming months.

“So good we went back for Breakfast!”
Reviewed 9 April 2014

We stumbled in from the rain and went upstairs to the Tearoom; a stark contrast from the bakery downstairs. We ordered afternoon tea for two and it was just lovely; sizeable portions and a huge pot of tea. The service was wonderful, so good we went back for breakfast the next day. Good quality and value for money in the heart of Bowness on Windermere.

“Never wrote a bad review but this was bad!!”
Reviewed 31 March 2014 via mobile

Dry bread, awful atmosphere, ignorant unhelpful staff. Didn't even stay for dessert and that's unusual! Love all the stuff from the bakery downstairs so I think i will stick to that next time!
