“The best restaurant in Bowness by far!”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

Amazing food - enough choice for everybody! - I particularly recommend the tapas dishes and especially their homemade balsamic! The decor is delightful and the service was second to none! A woman who I assumed to be the owner was attentive throughout, very friendly and continuously made humorous conversation (perfect if with family) to everybody in there and it was busy when we visited but very relaxing - were never waiting long at all. At one point i wondered how her and another lady who worked there who was also just as friendly managed to see to everybody timely throughout the night but i assume this is just one of many reasons why the place continues to be so successful. Definitely needs a visit if you are staying in Bowness or simply just passing - service is fast enough if you were needing to have a quick bite but not rushed in the slightest - seriously one of the best if not the best in Bowness!

“Love this place!”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

We visited Roberto's for the first time in October 2010 and were so impressed we went back on our second night in Bowness during that visit. We made a special side tour in our trip around Scotland and the UK to visit them again tonight. We were not disappointed the food was fabulous and the service wonderful. Wish they were a little closer to our home in Australia so we could visit more often! Our one comment would be that the lack of ability to book ahead was a concern when we had come all this way to enjoy this restaurant again.

“Tapas at Roberto's”
Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

Our 3rd visit to Robertos over a few years. The service and food was good. We had a tapas for the main, which was very nice. A little expensive to me (£50 per head Inc wine), but the quality was good. One of the waiters was a little miserable but the other was very good. A pleasant night.
