One of several libraries in the town of Barrow in Furness Ramsden Square is the largest and has access to stock from throughout Cumbria. Disabled friendly with helpful staff. The records library has information on the past of Barrow and the staff there are helpful too. Computer access is available for a small charge or free to those on benefits or pensioners for one hour each day. A DVD library holds many interesting discs that can be rented for a small sum. Well worth a visit.
