I booked a one night stay here for my boyfriend's birthday. We were really happy with our room really spacious, modern, fresh and clean. Beds very comfy and the bathroom was lovely. We found the staff friendly and polite. We did think it might be a bit noisey with having the pub downstairs but I wasn't at all. We had a lovely breakfast in the pub the following morning. We will definatly return

We stayed here at the weekend and had a great time. The hotel is really good(Wetherspoons usually are) and very comfortable. The room had everything we needed. The bathroom was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We were in a ground floor room and it was so quiet. Barrow in Furness isn't a very nice place but this hotel is excellent. Food was really good too. Food and drinks in Wetherspoons hotels are always excellent value for money. All the staff were really friendly too. We had a brilliant weekend.

Room tip: We stayed in a ground floor room. View of the car park in the back street! But so quiet

Stayed here for a night and what a great hotel, we stayed the night England won their football match but couldn't hear any noise from the bar. the room was really big and the bed was so comfortable, bathroom was a good size and it was all spotless clean, for the price it was a brilliant hotel and we will definitely stay there again

Couldn’t have booked a better place to stay. The family room was really big and had everything you needed. All the staff were happy and friendly. I’ve only taken one star off as I think the carpets could do with a deep clean. Having a crawling baby I was shocked how black he got from crawling on the room floor.

The room sizes are amazing with a super kingsize comfortable beds with feather pillows. unfortunately this stay was not as successful as my previous stays. On a 2 night stay I hurt my toe and bled a little on the sheets and duvet cover on the first night having been out for the day came back to bed made with the same soiled sheets and the bathroom not wiped down with mug rig on the side of sink.

Shower was brilliant with a 6 inch square over head and straight down powerful shower.

The only real down side is the parking and this is a carpark to the rear of the building that is free from 3pm to 8 am so a dash to the car in the morning to buy a ticket in the pay and display car park

Room tip: we stayed in 337 and found it to be large and airy, full of light.

Hello Lisa,

Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We will look into the issues that you have raised and rectify asap. With regards to the car park, I would advise that if you put a ticket on after 6pm this would then activate at 8am the next morning therefore alleviating any rushing in the morning to ensure that your car doesn't receive a ticket. I hope that this helps for any future visits that you have planned.

Kind regards
