The fascinating nature, the lovely house ladybird barn and the friendly atmosphere from Adrian and Ananda brouhgt us very fine holidays. From there we started many trips to woolacombe beach, tarr steps, Exmoor park, Bath .... It was great but too short time! Only the weather were not so good ...

Room tip: Ladybird barn is very lovely.

It was a last minute booking made via the Owners Direct website. We had direct contact with the owners within a few hours of our enquiry by email, and travelled with a one year old to their farm. The lovenorthdevon website told us alot, but the reality of the farm and accomodation was still a great surprise. The kit provided for our daughter was new, high quality and meant we could travel much lighter than we were used to, while the cottage (we were in Ladybird) was beautifully planned, decorated, furnished and kitted out. The log burner was very welcome in the evenings. The farm was great - the chickens, cats and sheep being the main attraction for the 1 year old - and on the days we had bad weather, the nearby village pool, shops and tourist attractions kept us busy. Mandy and Adrian and their kids were wonderful, made us feel like one of the family but gave us our own space to enjoy their farm and have a very relaxing week. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this or go back ourselves.
