We took both the barn and the cottage for a multi-generational holiday to celebrate a special birthday. Adrian and Amanda could not have been more hospitable - wonderful welcome pack that included a delicious selection of fresh vegetables, wine and huge chocolate cake.
The properties are very comfortable, especially the barn which has a large open living area, perfect for all 11 of us to sit in the evenings.
The farm itself is fantastic for the children, they loved the lake with its really long slide and rowing boat (life jackets and fishing rods all available too). Collecting the chickens eggs and feeding the pigs was also very popular.
There is plenty to do in the area, lots of lovely beaches and several good restaurants.
Would highly recommend.

My husband and I and our 4 and 1 year old have just returned from a fabulous week in Copper Kettle cottage and had a fabulous time.

Holidaying with littleys is not always the most relaxing time in the world and we were considering initially a villa in Spain to allow them to splash about in a pool .... I'm so glad we didn't. From the moment we arrived they were kept entertained whether by feeding the chickens with the food kindly left in the cottage, collecting eggs, walking through the sheep field and shouting "hello sheeps", being shown round the pigs by Amanda and Adrian's son Lewis, playing in the tree house, fishing in the stream ... I could go on and on!

The cottage is wonderful as is the barn and I can't believe I have managed to write so much without even a mention of Amanda and Adrian's hospitality. It was so nice to arrive to a cream tea and some suitably decorated cupcakes for the children for example - they even had their bedroom decked out in dinosaurs and pink by the way which went down a storm. Everything about our stay was fantastic and we all really want to return again soon.

Thank you to the whole Budd family for making our stay so special and we hope to return again soon.

Room Tip: Both properties and fabulous

We stayed from Monday to Friday in this fantastic property. Everything we needed was provided and Adrian and Amanda were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they looked after us incredibly well with homemade cakes and lighting the wood burner for us to keep us warm and cosy in the dreadful July weather. We were able to collect fresh eggs every morning for breakfast and sample sausages from their own pigs.
Our stay was one of the best we have experienced and we really hope to go back soon. Many thanks to you both for making us feel so welcome and for giving us such a lovely break.

Just returned from speding New Year at Ladybird Barn, the standard of accommodation is really high with supplies of DVDs, highchir, travel cot and toys for the kids. In the cold weather the barn was really cosy with the log burner. We were welcomed with a fabulous home made cream tea and drinks. The kids loved the chickens and fishing in the lake. Amanda couldnt have meade us feel more welcome. Will definatley book again for the summer
