We stopped here as part of our John o'Groats to Lands End charitable bike ride. The cafe is in a superb location, with space to lock bikes up outside. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed some superb food and drink. The scones are especially good. Well worth a visit!

Made a point of finding this little cafe after the reviews I read on here and have got to say, was not disappointed! The cafe was very busy when we arrived but the staff made every effort for us to join the countryside atmosphere, that was if we were ok with squeezing together!
Not a problem us squeezing on one table from gazing round at what people were already tucking into!
Clotted cream teas ordered and very impressed with results. Lashings of home made jam with exquisite clotted cream plastered over a fresh scone all drenched down with fine coffee and delicious tea from fine china cups, it doesn't come better than this! Staff still soldering round attending to new customers and always smiling.
It's no surprise after a quick glance round this traditional cafe that there are proud displays of trip advisor certification of excellent standard - fully warranted. All the family fully satisfied, we'll be back next year!

We spotted this excellent cafe as we explored the covered antique market, little did we know we would soon be drinking tea from lovely china cups similar to what was on offer in the market!

We found a corner table and as we perused the menu we realised there was a music playlist that matched our taste and we were soon tapping along. Cream tea (£3.70) and a toasted sandwich (£6.20) were chosen and were very much enjoyed.

Service was friendly and helpful and they even checked their music so we could identify Ella Fitzgerald for sure.
