Myself and the family took a trip to this traditional pub and was pleasently surprised by the change of interior and the friendliness of the staff, The real ales on offer were second to none and we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay and eat there too, it was faultless, We do understand that there have been many owners over the years but the recent change bears testiment to what a good pub needs, friendly staff, clean seating areas and local knowledge as well as great tradional ales and wholesome locally sourced foods. We had children with us and they had a beer garden to play in as well as giant jenga which was great, A real community pub with a great vibe about it,
Plenty of parking outside too and they also do accomodation, Certainly looking forward to returning in the near future to see the new restaurant that is currently undergoing refurbishment, if it is as classy and cosy as the new bar area then it will be worth the visit.
