The markets are a key part of Durham. Straight off the 'Market Square' they are indoors and always a hive of activities. There are probably around 50 or so stands selling all sorts from food, shoes, electronics, watch repairs the lot! Its fairly small so all packed in which creates a nice atmosphere and there are lots of bargains to be had. Very easy to find and won't take long to look around so make sure you pop in if your in Durham
