Description: An inviting, affordable and down to earth cafe bistro located in Saddler street. Delicious homemade food cooked to order, from sandwiches to pasta dishes, something to cater for everybody's taste, including our weekday specials menu. If you don't fancy a full meal enjoy a homemade scone or slice of cake. We also serve "proper coffee" made from espresso, various tea's, milkshakes, soft drinks and alchohol. Everyone welcome!

We visited based on the previous reviews but we were disappointed on the full English, both of them were over cooked, mushrooms seemed to have been deep fried at least twice. The black pudding was inedible again over fried.
Service was quick but an extra 5 mins to ensure the food was cooked to a better standard!

Always friendly service and a good value breakfast. Busy on a Saturday but somehow they can always squeeze you in.

We go to Saddler's far to often, either for a 'coffee and cake' when the shopping is too heavy or for a late breakfast/lunch. It's a lovely spot to watch the world wander by and the eggs benedict is perfect.

If you're feeling cheeky, you can order off menu and they've always accomodated our 'moody' teenager's demands.

Durham is lucky to have locally owned non-franchised and friendly staffed places, join the queue and support this one.

This is a nice cafe serving nice food and drinks, as a result it is always busy and awkward for pushchairs and wheelchairs, still worth a try if looking for lunch whilst in durham.
