The most beautiful of all of Durham's historic buildings. Wonderful architecture and detail. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Cafe is not bad either.

You walk around inside a massive building built nearly 1000 years ago, you can see the erosion on the walls. What's not to like?

It's more than a thousand years old but it has kept its awesomeness! A must see when in Durham. If you feel energetic enough, do have a go at climbing up to the top of the cathedral tower for a breath-taking view of Durham (fees apply).
