“Much improved since my last visit, great service and good food”
Reviewed 22 January 2014

Its a while since I have been here but returned this week with friends. It has been updated in the restaurant and now has a bar menu or bistro menu. The decor is lovely and the menus are vast with something to please everyone. I had trio of pork which was gorgeous, friends had a burger which looked great and also corned beef pie. We all loved our food and were full up. The biggest improvement was the staff. Our waiter was so friendly and helpful, made us feel at home and not rushed or hassled. I will be returning.

“Much Improved”
Reviewed 15 January 2014 via mobile

We have visited the Court Inn a few times before with our four legged friend and while we have always received a warm welcome the food was never up too much. However as the pub is dog friendly we decided to give it another go to celebrate a family birthday. We couldn't have been more pleased. Two of our party ordered gammon, one the rump steak and I opted for the ham hock. All were beautifully cooked and served. There was so much meat on the ham hock that despite help from two four legged companions I still had to have a doggy bag. We will definitely be back especially as it is so hard to find a local pub which serves good food and is doggy friendly. Well done!

“Dog friendly ”
Reviewed 4 January 2014 via mobile

Have been here a few times over the last twelve months and is always great. The menu has changed since few times.

The food all seems homecooked. I have never had a problem with any of the staff and have always been friendly.

We usually go during the day with our small dog and receive a warm welcome.

“Proper home cooked food”
Reviewed 31 December 2013 via mobile

We visited afternoon time for lunch. The pub is dig friendly so we brought ours whilst out on a walk. The bar is cosy yet spacious. Loads of choice on the menu all sounded delicious and home cooked. I had mince and dumpling. It was a large portion of home cooked food. Tasty and lush.
