Visited this restaurant with my husband for Sunday lunch. We arrived 15 minutes late after having a job finding the place, we were asked to have a drink at the bar until our table was ready. We were shown into the restaurant when our table was ready. I chose the starter, of black pudding, it arrived, one slice of black pudding with a tablespoon of pepper sauce on top - price for this £3.95!! For the main course we chose the slow roasted brisket of beef with Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables and Roast Loin of Pork with Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables, we waited and waited and waited and waited, eventually my husband asked where our food was, we were informed that they were very busy and that they had a table of 14 sitting upstairs whose order was taken just before ours and that is why we had to wait!!!!! The meal eventually arrived, what a disappointment, overcooked pork, overcooked vegetables, and lukewarm food. We were never asked if we required any condiments, we had to ask. The only thing my husband enjoyed was the beef. At no time throughout the meal were we ever asked if we were enjoying our meal or if everything was to our liking. I think it will be a long while before we return here again

Food is excellent; good choice and competitively priced. Service is always excellent, really enjoy every visit. Staff are very accommodating, and always try their best to get you a table when you have not made a prior booking.

It's a while since we had Sunday lunch at the 3 Horseshoes but I'm pleased to say it continues with its commitment to a high standard with excellent service. 4 of us met and we all enjoyed the whole experience, the roast beef being particularly delicious and so tender it was breaking into pieces on the fork. We booked approximately 4 days in advance and the restaurant operates a "sitting" format. We arrived at 1.15 pm for the 1.30 pm "sitting" but we were taken to our table as soon as we arrived. The dishes were served at the right pace, no rushing and no excessive wait, just right. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy Sunday lunch, the 3 Horseshoes will deliver. Prices are also very reasonable.

Service was brilliant, with staff willing to accommodate changes and being really friendly. Whilst also fine with serving us when we moved outside.
Food was 1st class, amazing hanger steak and considering we had a table of 7 everything arrived at the same time without a wait and piping hot.
Atmosphere is great, the restaurant area is really light and superb decorations
Can't say much else, simply perfect experience, would highly recommend it to anyone.

Myself and my husband ate here on 5th July as an anniversary treat and we enjoyed it immensely. We managed to secure a table in The Library section of the restaurant and were pre-advised that we would be in this section. Although it is beside the main entrance to the restaurant, we did not feel that this detracted from our experience.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the service we received was fantastic. We shared the Brie starter which was very yummy indeed. My husband opted for the souz vide beef and I had the Surf and Turf. Both were delicious, reasonably priced and beautifully presented. We even found room got pudding, opting for the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Cheesecake. Again both were fantastic. The menu on a whole was full of lots of delicious choices at very fair prices considering the quality of the food.

The overall atmosphere of the place was relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We have been raving about the place to friends so hopefully they can experience such a lovely dining experience as well.
