“A small piece of land, a strange thing to review, but very picturesque”
Review of Palace Green

Palace Green is essentially nothing but a small field in the centre of Durham, which may seem like a strange thing to review. However, it is surrounded by the beautiful cathedral and the castle, as well as the very nice and atmospheric town of Durham itself.

If you have a day to kill and are visiting the Cathedral or castle anyway, bring a picnic and enjoy this really nice patch of land in the sunshine. Absolutely beautiful, and free! What better way is there to enjoy the rare British sunshine?
