Four of us went to Sambucca on Saturday night. It was really busy and a good atmosphere. We ordered Black Pudding for starters but that was off so 3 of us had potato skins and the other calamari (which was overcooked so was tough and horrible). 3 of us chose the Seafood Delight and my sister-in-law had chicken parmo. The fish was all really overcooked and burnt - had a horrible burnt taste and the chicken was not cooked in the middle. When the waitress asked if everything was OK we said the food was burnt and chicken raw but no-one came to apologise or take anything off the bill. We will not be back again! The people whose birthdays were stood on a chair whilst everyone sang Happy Birthday to them - there were loads of "birthdays" (one girl told us it wasn't her birthday but the waiter asked her to pretend it was for a shot of tequila!).
My brother and husband both had the runs the next day so I'm guessing it must have been the calamari.
