The organisation by Durham University and staff was efficient which made the whole experience so enjoyable. Displays were superb and the passionate staff were knowlegeable. The Gospels are not only religious and cultural treasures, but each page is a work of art in itself

I took this opportunity to see the Gospels while they were in Durham and found that it was a very well thought out display culminating in the Gospels themselves. The descriptions of various ancient treasures and where they were found etc was all explained and displayed to the best advantage. The staff (students) were helpful as were the security staff who phoned for a taxi for me as I have mobility problems due to a recent stroke

You would need to travel to London as they have stolen them again. Hopefully we will manage to hang onto some of our museums.

As a resident of County Durham I took this opportunity to see the Gospels without travelling to London and found that it was a very well thought out display culminating in the Gospels themselves. The descriptions of various ancient treasures and where they were found etc was all explained and displayed to the best advantage. Thank you to the organisers for giving me this chance to share the delightful history of my region. I had a wonderful afternoon.

The exhibition was very well laid out, and the students who marshalled it were excellent. They were very pleasant and though it was the last day of the exhibition, their enthusiasm was still infectious for the amazing artefacts on display. I hope that the exhibition can be taken to other countries, because it is so incredible that as many people as possible should be able to see it - not just those visiting London (that over-crowded and over expensive city!).
