Located on a trading estate, next to a number of car showrooms, the hotel is within easy reach of Durham centre, and the surrounding area. The room was large , clean, comfortable, and quiet, with everything working properly. The staff were both helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good value, both for quality and quantity. A tip for anyone wanting a good shower, take a bar of soap with you, as it is almost impossible to get a decent lather going with the liquid soap, which is on a dispenser on the wall
My one small moan is that you only get half an hour of Wi fi free, after that it costs £ 3 a day. I have just returned from a road trip in the US where all hotels seemed to offered free Wi fi. Why is it you can get free Wi fi in a coffee shop, but have to pay for it when staying in a U K hotel ?
However having moaned about this, this was our first experience staying in a Premier Inn, and we were very impressed, and it offered great value for money.

Excellent location for base for our break. Usual comforts and friendly staff we have come to expect from the Premier chain.Table Table restaurant next door serves excellent food at decent prices. Staff good too. All in all a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend.

Located on outskirts of Durham, but with in easy reach of city centre and motorway. We found the staff very welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were clean, and bed very comfortable. The full breakfast facility offered was very good, lots of good food, both hot and cold available, which we made full use of. Not quite so impressed with the restaurant for dinner, whilst there was quite a good selection on offer there could have been more haelthier options.

Room Tip: Try to avoid rooms at back of the hotel, early morning traffic on the industrial estate can be noisey.
