Premier Inn Durham North Hotel

We have stayed at Durham north Premier Inn several times and have always found the rooms comfortable and clean with frendly staff. The value for money (for two people) is good and the continental breakfast with excellent porridge is good (cost of breakfast is extra). The situation is quiet but a shopping centre with Sansbury's is within 5 minutes walking distance.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a bed for a third person.

Usual high standards from Premier Inn. Very friendly service. Very useful being so close to shopping area. Will use again.

Arrived earlier than the requested 2pm check-in. Not a problem, the room was ready, great start!
The receptionist was fantastic, very friendly, thorough and very informative. During the stay we ate in the Brewers Fayre pub next door. Ok, not fine dining but sufficient, it had a play area for the kids which allowed us to have a quick pint with our meal and once again the staff were brilliant, nothing too much trouble. Only nark was the time taken to clear empty plates away, however, it was the school holidays and it was busy. Breakfast next morning spot on as always, our two children ate for free, check out was straight forward, once again with a superb receptionist then onto Beamish for the day.
Just to round up, the staff here from the reception staff to the maids cleaners to the pub staff were all 1st class and a credit to this hotel. The rooms were spotless and it certainly all contributed to us having a wonderful stay. 10/10

The Hotel is not far from the town nor from The Beamish Museum so we managed a visit to Beamish as well as Durham Cathedral during our two full days stay without the slightest pressure.
The hotel was excellent, clean and comfortable. The facilities were faultless and the staff was really friendly and I will have no hesitation in stopping there again.

Friendly, happy, great hotel.

This was our first experience of a Premier Inn hotel and we will definately be booking with them again.

We often book weekends away in order to discover different parts of the country and always look to book a budget hotel - after all not a lot of time is spent in it so why pay ridiculous prices. Durham North Premier Inn was by far the best budget hotel we have stayed in at £29 per night.

The room and bathroom were immaculatly kept and the bed gave us the best nights sleep we've had in a long time (not to mention those amazing pillows!).

All the staff from front desk to housekeeping were friendly and helpful and always had a smile.

I don't think we could go back to a Travel lodge or Holiday Inn now we've experienced Premier Inn (I just hope they are all as good as Durham North).

I love this Premier Inn, staff excellent, friendly and helpful, quiet location, excellent rooms and value for money, plenty of communication pre arrival always to ensure you can find the hotel easily and polite emails saying thanks for staying post stay. The Brewers Fayre provides excellent food, again the staff are first class. I always opt for this hotel on my journey's to Northumberland if possible
