We recently went there after a days walking for a coffee to check the place out for a later date to go for a meal and i was amazed how people could look and treat you like something you had just trod in.

would never ever go again.

i think they think the place would be great if there was not any customers getting in the way.

Disappointing meal in soulless surroundings. Shocked to find all pizza and pasta dishes costing around £10, the same as 'full' meals, when the going rate elsewhere is nearer the £6 mark. No bread, or breadsticks even, to nibble on while we waited. Grim red house wine. My tortellini alla crema (meat filled 'fresh' pasta with wild mushrooms and onions in a creamy sauce) was plentiful but underseasoned, needing loads of black pepper and parmesan (pleasantly left in a dish on the table) to give it flavour. The onion was undercooked and the mushrooms reconstituted and watery. Service reasonable but no particular interest in customers.

Would not go again, though I had enjoyed meals there in the past.
