We have been staying at Beverley Bay for about 5 years now. My children used to love the evening entertainment and always looked forward to going every night. Unfortunately this year there was no entertainment in the evening for children at all. I have never seen the Oceans Bar look so deserted surely the bar is out of pocket due to lack of customers now. Also I cannot believe that the restaurant on site (Tides) does not open until 6pm. Surely not everyone wants to eat their evening meal so late.

As I appreciate you want to make alterations to the site please see from a customers point of view that us as family's would like to see our children's entertainment back on site and better opening times at Tides.

With regards to our dining facilities, we have a wealth of dining options available for our customers in addition to Tides Burger Bar, including the Waterfront Poolside Café, Galley Café & Takeaway and Upperdeck Bar & Terrace, as well as two shops. These are available to all regardless of whether you are staying on Beverley Park and Beverley Bay. Also available to all is our jam-packed entertainment programme across both areas which offers a wealth of on-site activities including childrens' crafts in Sandy’s Shack, visits from Pennywell Farm, a climbing wall, mini golf, and magicians, comedians, children’s party dances and much more in the evenings. We have been coming to beverley holidays for 22 years..the site is in a lovely location with a fantastic view from our touring pitch.. up until this year we always went to ashvale for our entertainment as we found it more intimate than across at beverley and since simon and matt began working there the entertainment has got better and better...the last 5 years simon and matt have had the best team ever working with them... this year there have been many changes..and not all for the better..whilst i feel that simon, matt, jack, jay and romaine deserve a bigger audience... what were management thinking moving all the entertainment across to beverley...i have no intention of making personal 'digs' but yes..entertainment at beverley on previous years has been dated.."same stuff..different day" i have read through the comments on trip advisor and it seems there are a lot of "chris and derry" followers making totally unjustified comments about certain members of the "ashvale crew" ... in particular..romaine..matt and simon.. the comment about romaine was disgusting ..firstly romaine is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet..fabulous singer... and never anything but friendly to both adults and children..secondly to call simon and matt "racist" because they made jokes about the welsh and the scottish..jeez get a life!! Its banter..i wouldnt take offence if they made comments about the midlands..simon and matt are the backbone of a fabulous team..wouldnt it be boring if they just stood there and had no audience interaction...jay and jack are equally as talented and a massive asset to the team..roger is also multi talented and works fantastically well with mat morgan...singing/playing at random requests being shouted out to them...i think management should listen to the genuine comments on here...not the nit pickin from "the old beverley team followers" ... the entertainments team work extremely hard..now doin 2 shows most nights...i dont understand why management couldnt split the entertainment over the two sites... we went into "ashvale"on one night and it was almost empty with a poor vocalist singing to empty chairs..and from speaking to other regular holidaymakers the running costs of keeping it open must be far higher than the takings...is this the jeavon familys' justification for closing it and selling it for building land or will they swallow their pride and admit they have made a massive mistake..
If we had been staying on ashvale for the first time i doubt we would ever return...across at beverley you have to queue from 6:30 to get a decent seat..which isnt ideal when you are on holiday and have been out for the day..you go on holiday to relax...whilst still on the subject of entertainment...why on earth are the trained talented ents team collecting keys from outside reception... havimg worked until after 11;30 the prev night..when the receptionists are sitting behind the reception desk...is that not the job of the receptionists?? Which incidently are lovely, friendly and helpful..and this is by no means anything personal to them...im sure they would agree themselves...so come on the Jeavons family..listen to your loyal customers before you lose the best entertainments team you have ever had...beverley holidays has always had the personal touch and is a wonderful place to be...everywhere is clean..tidy and welcoming but the younger generation of the jeavons seem to be getting it all wrong...the site is so popular that you need to book your next years holiday whilst you are there..we went to book for 2015 and because we requested the same pitch we were told there was now a charge of £10 for doing so, the other option is to be allocated "what is left" the week before arrival...another new change to grab a few extra pennies from loyal returning customers...they know people are goin to pay it...whats next..charging to reserve a lounger by the pool...or a table in the club?? All said and done i still have to rate beverley holidays as excellent..because it is and would highy recommend it to anyone...but please before you run your sites into the ground....management please have a rethink and appreciate what good staff and loyal customers you have...on a more personal note..which i said i wasnt going to do..but..looks like i am..it has been said on different comments whether on here or by customers that chris and derry feel they are bein "pushed aside" when in actual fact that is not the case...its the fact that their talents are not of the same standard as the others so thereby appearing more noticable on stage and to some of their loyal followers could "look" like that to them...and only them. Keep up the fantastic work..simon, mat and your team!!! Lastly all the team are massively talented in their own rights..and mat..simon and jack have put together a group 2fat4that..absolutely fantastic!! Find them on facebook/youtube and take a look..

We have just arrived home from beverley park after our weeks holiday , now whilst as regular visitors we knew about the changes they had made to the entertainment team what we didn't expect especially in high season was what greeted us in oceans bar , there were about 10 people in the room where as you would struggle to find a table usually this time of year , whilst we all expect change in life what they have done to oceans bar is a disgrace the changes are too drastic gone are Simon, matt, jack and the gang all banished to starlight bar all that's left in oceans bar are a few poor acts that come in few nights a week and some guy ( he deserves a medal for trying bless him ) that does karaoke and horse racing night but again the room is empty . Yes you can go over road to starlight bar but it's too small to fit all the guests in from both camps so it's a no no unless you queue for a table we don't go on holiday to queue . Also the caravan we were allocated this year even though it was £100 more expensive then last year was really dated and in need of replacing , beverley holidays are getting really close to pricing themselves out of the market , we don't know but it seems as though the park is now being run by new management structure as the standards are slipping in last few years , yes staff are still very friendly but general maintainence seems lacking , the park is shut for 5 months a year surely enough time for a lick of paint etc , the outside pool at beverley bay is looking tired as if it's been neglected several seagulls were swimming in it a few nights not a good sight , even the lady in the shop and bar staff on beverley bay side were saying most the guests are complaining about the changes that have been made to the entertainment teams surely the management should listen to their customers come on beverley management take a review of what you have done and perhaps come up with a happy solution where both oceans bar and starlight bar guests can be treated equally again like in the past , surely it can't be that hard to have the entertainment team alternate to both bars keeps everyone happy . ONE VERY UNHAPPY REGULAR CUSTOMER.

We have been going here for 20+ years and this is the first time we have not booked for next year. Although they do give discount for previous customers they have been very unhelpful in trying to accommodate us on the price and dates for next year only offering book price so customer loyalty means nothing. There has been a lot of changes but unfortunately not all for the better.

We were about to go home after one awful nite at site in brixham.called in here on offchance n lucky to get caravan for 3 nites left.luvly n clean.reception staff helpful.site great which we knew as stayed before.luvly time.we will return.thanks beverley park!
