Having just returned from a lovely family break, we thought it worthy of a glowing review.
Not being a natural camper, I was a little apprehensive about staying in a tent for five nights. Toilets, showers, neighbours, what would they be like?
I needn't have worried. The showers and toilets were clean and relatively warm ( although August, the temperature had dropped somewhat). The showers although having to keep pressing the button to keep it on, we're roomy and hot. Big thumbs up. Washing up area also clean with plenty of hot water.
The site it's self was just perfect for us. My kids are 13 & 9. They felt safe and able to wander around. The walk around the woods was lovely as were the parks. They enjoyed the outdoor pool and it's relaxed feel also the arcade, although the change machine not working was a little annoying. We did make lots of trips to the shop to get change. The activities that are on in the mornings are fab. Didn't expect to hold lizards, snakes and birds of prey!! My daughter also enjoyed the painting and drawing in the barn. We have lots if new art work!
The food was also pretty good. We had pizza on pizza night and a full English on leving morning, both very nice and a bit of a bargin. Two pizzas for £9.99 and two full English breakfasts for £8.49. This made for a happy husband. Drinks also were reasonably priced. Even better with the happy hour.
The kids have asked to come again and I think we will. Very much fancy trying a pod next time, nice little area with a newish toilet block.
Thank you for a fantastic holiday, looking forward to the next.

We are a family with older children.

Lovely views
Really helpful, friendly staff in reception, shop and bar
Loads to do in the area - loved Paignton Zoo, Kents Cavern, Meadfoot Beach in Torguay and Cockington
Clean showers/toilets and minimal queues.
Lovely pizzas at Takeaway on Pizza night
Great kids activities on the morning - mini beasts, archery, mini farm, climbing wall

Officious bingo man put us off going, thought it was a bit of fun not Gala bingo!
Electricity Pylons across site not nice.
Our pitch was on a hill and so very windy and exposed.
Neighbours (young group?) swearing and having a belching competition (nice) as we were trying to sleep!!!
Showers a bit dribbly.

Stayed here at the end of July, had a fantastic week staying in a Chaffinch caravan. It was very clean and in very nice condition. Location is good & convenient for all the towns and attractions in the area. Pool was lovely (but we had very hot weather) and we swam most evenings. We spent most of our time out and about, but there were plenty of facilities for children onsite- crafts, parks, treasure hunts & evening entertainment. Restaurant & shop were reasonably priced for a holiday park. Nice quiet site. Would return.
