This pier us very old and I used to visit it every day when I used to live in Paignton . Lots for kids to play around and some people do their fishing on the pure. Liars of cafe,s and shops but the view us superb like watching the English Riviera, almost to the French Riviera but amazing

“Winner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

On our recent visit to Paignton the weather wasn't as good so we decided to visit the pier. We decided to have a go on the 2p coin drop. We found a winning combination, so if you fancy your chances here's how to do it. Find a machine with goodies which are near to the edge, then use both sides to drop the coins in rapid succession. After we'd won from one section we moved around the machine. In total we won 10 key rings and 5 'me to you' teddy bears. The teddy's retail at £7.99 each and key rings £2.99, so it was nice to come away with more than we put in.

“What can one say, as little as possible really.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014

Unless amusement arcades are your perception of a pier, this one has little to offer. Maybe it's saving grace is its free, but no food to speak of, no quality apparent. Not a Southwold Pier by any stretch of the imagination.

“the pier”

not impressed at all! Too much of the pier taken up with a noisy arcade. Okay for families I suppose

“view Torbay from the pier”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014

it's the usual pier with a battery of amusements which aren't us but of course fun to many, but certainly it's well worth going through them to see Torbay in all it's beauty.
