The Rowcroft is ideally suited overlooking Goodrington Park and Elly & Steve are very
welcoming. This was our third visit and we would highly recommend this b&b. The
breakfast is more than substantial and sets you up for the day. Nothing is too much trouble for our lovely hosts and you would not be disappointed with a stay at the
Rowcroft.

We had a wonderful time staying at Rowcroft Lodge. Steve and Ellie were lovely, friendly hosts who were very accommodating. They provided a superb breakfast which was cooked to the time we had requested the night before! Brilliant idea to have a breakfast list which you leave at reception area with your choices of what you'd like (e.g scrambled egg on toast, full English breakfast, beans on toast, etc) and also what time you'd like it! Our room was great. We had a spacious bay fronted room overlooking the park and could see the sea from our window too. We could see the waves splashing up over the beach houses during one stormy day! The bed was very comfortable, and the furnishings were all modern. Steve and Ellie said they'd been lately decorating and revamping. There was space for vehicles on their drive (and they also have further parking at the rear of the property if needed). We would definitely stay there again if we return to Paignton.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 3 which was a bay fronted room overlooking park/beach area. Double bed & bunk bed present (ideal for children if needed)

My wife and I decided to take a short break between Christmas and New Year in Paignton.
We were lucky enough to book into Rowcroft Lodge.
We were greeted with a smile even though we were an hour early, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was great.
We will hopefully revisit at the end of February however they are doing a lot of refurbishment so fingers crossed they can accommodate us.

Asked to pay the full amount within minutes of arrival before being shown to the room! Furniture was rather old & dated. Poor lighting. A very uncomfortable spring mattress. Small, cramped en suite. Only one chair provided. Small TV. Poor ventilation from the kitchen created nauseous smells throughout the house at breakfast time. Repetitive, dull breakfast menu. The bar service was not open unless requested in advance.

Room Tip: Upper front rooms overlook the park. A number of stairs have to be negotiated to all room levels.

We stayed for a long weekend with two young children. Lovely guest house in a lovely setting. Opposite a park, close to the sea and a lake. Lots to do for children close by ie swan boats, park, donkey rides etc. Guest house was beautifully clean. Room was a good size. Cooked breakfast was very nice. There was a relaxed atmosphere in the house and the couple running it were very nice. All in all a lovely stay in a lovely guest house and I would certainly go back.
