“Fab time in Paignton, Brixham and Torquay!”
Reviewed 29 August 2012

Fantastic newly built Premier Inn. Located slightly out of town but allowing for great access to the three local resorts. We were allocated a road side family room on the second floor but with excellent sound insulated windows we never heard the traffic! A great nights sleep followed by a great breakfast, especially when the kids eat for free.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
Loads of free parking and a very good Beefeater restaurant on-site.
Will definitely stay there again when visiting the south west coast. Still so much to see in the local area.

Room Tip: Well sound proofed rooms so no worries about roadside noise!

Very nice, modern hotel. Air conditioning a definite bonus. Excellent car parking. Convenient for bus stops to explore the area. Rather a long wait at breakfast, and not enough staff to cope with everyone. Had a very nice meal in the evening - Donna the waitress very nice.
Only complaint was the cleanliness of the room/bathroom. Stayed for a week - no bed change or made, bathroom not wiped or cleaned whole time. Loo dirty from arrival.
Would stay again as it is convenient (taking my own loo wipes!!) but would not recommend.

We chose to eat at the hotel, Saturday night in August. Could be really busy, but decided to give it another go after the previous experience wasn't too good. We had a very polite and friendly waiter called Paul who very quickly came to our table to ask us if we would like to order drinks. A bottle of wine arrived within minutes and we placed our order of salmon and sea bream. After about half an hour our food arrived and both meals were excellent.

We stayed here for 2 nights recently and had a lovely stay. We used the hotel as a base to visit that part of Devon, and it was very convenient.

The hotel is very new still and is decorated rather nice. We had a car park view which does look out on to a little bit of country and there is plenty of parking here. The hotel is in amongst some building works but this doesn't detract from your stay here. The hotel and restaurant are fully functional and look good, and the building works are not in your face when you stay.

There is a beefeater grill too where you have your breakfast and this was lovely too. Although we were advised to book up for dinner and we didn't, and when we went to book a table at 6.15 pm we were told that there was no availability until 9.15 pm. So if you want an evening meal there do prebook.

Reception were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found a couple of bits of rubbish under the bed which we told them about and unfortunately this was not removed during our stay but it wasn't anything major and the room was clean and so was the bedding. One of the towels did have a stain on it although the towel was clean, the stain just never came out in the wash. We told reception and they replaced this straight away.

It was a comfortable nights stay and the breakfast was very welcoming too. There was also air conditioning too which was wlecome after a warm drive.

All in all we enjoyed the stay. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: There are 2 sides to the hotel, car park view or main road view. Choose the car park view.

Stayed here with the family, Very good welcome staff friendly and helpfull. The rooms are a good size, and as this hotel is new everything looks good. Beefeater next door good for breakfast but food average in the evening when we ate. Would use this hotel when again in the area.

Lovely hotel, not sure why previous comments say its a building site ! the area the hotel and restaurant are on is complete ! The hotel was lovely and so was restaurant for breakfast and dinner, we stayed 3 nights abd had a great time. A bus stop is near by so we took a lovely short bus ride to Paigntion and then to Torquay. Would stay again.

Great location, brand new rooms, therefore they were very clean and finished to a high standard. Would have benefited from having a fridge, as we were travelling with a young child. Friendly staff and the restaurant next door was okay (for breakfast).
