Visited for lunch. Now a busy weekday, ordered and sat down. Waited and waited and waited. We're 3other families waiting too. Staff all seemed busy running around clearing tables, serving customers. Owner more interested in adjusting volume on TV music channel, and doing his crossword. After 20 mins wait waitress bought over a pizza which wasn't what we ordered, then promptly took away after we said wasn't ours, apologising saying for another table. Waited and waited some more, a owner with a dog came in and the owner of cafe jumped up and fed dog a biscuit, the dog was fed quicker than us. Our baguettes arrived after 45 minutes. The neighbouring table only ordered toasted tea cakes and waited 50 mins for that.
We had to take our food with us as our car park ticket was going to expire.
I would hate to think what it would be like on a busy day.
Think owner needs to rethink his priorities and maybe actually serve customers first rather than dogs. It is in fact his 3rd year in the cafe, you think he would know how to successfully run a cafe and how to keep customers happy.
By our experience it would seem not.

Went twice for lunch while on holiday. Good menu choice including a childrens menu. First time we have crab cakes with chilli sauce which were very tasty and went for a delicious salad second time. Found portions generous and cider ice cold. Nice seating area outside and just a short walk from the beach. Staff friendly and efficient.

Called on a grey evening and thought they might be closing. Owner stayed open and cooked great burgers, nuggets and cheesy nachos. Generous portions and nice people.
Worth taking the time to walk across from the Premier Inn.

Visited for lunch while on holiday with family, location is ideal, let down by cheap ingredients, cheap nasty cola, watered down vinegar and red sauce that tasted like paint stripper, but still charge a lot of money, why people can't use quality products is beyond me
