My wife and I visited Harbour Lodge again this weekend (25-28, May 2013) and everything was well up to previous standards.
A warm welcome, an excellent room, very comfortable with excellent shower and en-suite. It was scrupulously clean and beautifully maintained.
Breakfast was fabulous - cereals, fruit juices, full English breakfast (or variations of that as you wish) and toast and home-made jams and marmalade. Tea or coffee (instant or cafetière).

Peter and Christine have an excellent guest house, and we are already planning for a longer stay in the future. It is only 5 minutes walk from the harbour.

We have stayed several times at Harbour Lodge and have never been disappointed. Chris and Pete are excellent hosts and are obviously anxious to please. The rooms are bright, airy and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is excellent and well presented. The guest house is only a short walk to the seafront.

Our recent stay with Peter and Christine was perfect, a lovely clean and tidy room, Peter and Christine could not have been more obliging as we arrived early ( my fault ) before the room was ready, they took in our luggage and gave us a key so we didn't waste any time.
Lovely breakfast and they cater well for both our awkward diets and we had our usual lovely chat about the shows and what else was on and....to catch up of course as we have been coming here about 8 years usually more than once a year.

Room Tip: ask for what you want, different floor levels and I believe most are en-suite

We have just returned from a two night stay at harbour lodge and we plan to return soon.
The lovely B&B sits in a perfect spot only yards away form the Harbour, a perfect spot to park your car and just walk to all the attractions.
Peter and chris were the perfect hosts, providing us with everything we needed. We stayed in the family room which was great, a lovely double en-suite room with a separate room attached for your son, giving everyone a little more space and privacy.
Every thing was clean tidy and beautifully decorated. tea coffee provided in room with lovely biscuits thank you.
Thank you Peter for the lovely breakfast and chris for the homemade jam etc.
Paignton is a lovely place to visit with plenty to do especially for children, i have staying in the area 5 times before and this b&b is the best yet.
