We took advantage of a Groupon 2 night deal and stayed here in March. Weather of course was unreliable but we did enjoy our stay at the hotel with our dog.
Because we had a dog with us we were unable to upgrade to a better rooms (despite a charge of £7 per night for the dog to stay there) which was rather disappointing.
The food was fine (breakfast "full english" a little skimpy but good quality) but we did rather get the impression that the hotel was primarily run for the convenience of the staff rather than for ensuring the guests had the best possible experience.
We shan't stay there again, but not because it was bad, just because we feel there's better around for the prices they charge.More
