It was quite dark then I arrived around 5pm. Not enough lights in the carpark, couldn't see properly, not a good sign. From the pictures on the website it looked very grand but when I step inside, it was a lot smaller and quite disappointing. It was a old Victorian house and everything was quite old fashion. The bedroom was fine until I can hear every foot step from upstairs, terrible noise of floor boards, thumping, knocking, doors, it was most disturbing and very loud. My daughter and granddaughter went for a swim which was located at the Hotel next-door. We were told by the staff to walk through the garden to the Hotel next-door. We walked through the dark, through the lawn, bushes, plants, trees and we couldn't find the hotel. It was really spooky and dangerous. At the end we had to come out of the bushes and go round the front of the hotel next door. The pool was very small and again very disappointing. The only good thing was the dinner, that was quite nice, but when we ask for more bread rolls we were told the chef only baked one for each person. I thought that was quite mean, after all, it's only a small roll. The cold Breakfast was ok but the full English breakfast was not up to standard, very cheap. I will not be staying there again.
