Booked a short trip away at the Hambledon hotel to take away my wife and baby for a short relaxing trip, from the first phone call to checking out Bill and Jackie couldn't do enough to help and make you feel welcome. The hotel is very clean and tidy with a lovely dining room looking over the well kept garden and beautiful fish pond, and the welcoming lounge with nice sun terrace. The food was a very high standard with a good choice. the room was very comfortable and clean.
will defiantly be returning and thanks for making our first trip as a family a special 1!!!!

Enjoyed a three night stay walking holiday at Hambledon. From the friendly greeting, (with cup of tea), to our departure everything was superb. The hotel is small but the hospitality is large, it's clean, well equipped and the food is excellent. The walks were arranged for us with transport to and from the hotel and pub lunches on route all included. Absolutely recommended.

We are a group of 23 walkers from the Weston-super-Mare area who have just returned from the Hambledon Hotel on the Ise of wight, where we spent 3 nights & 2 days on a step by step walking holiday.
Everyone was impressed by how professional the walks leaders were and what a nice, friendly Hotel we returned to each day with it's wall to wall "Home Comforts" and delicious English cooking.
It was a highly, successful stay which was enjoyed by everyone wanting to return for more.

Had a 3 night break Fri-Sun B&B. Nicely refurbished room, not huge. Shower room not updated but clean and very serviceable. Had a nice relaxed atmosphere about the place. Breakfast was pleasant - you choose the cooked part the night before and a bell was rung to tell you it was breakfast time. Good location. Very welcoming hosts. Decent lounge for getting together if you are a party but as a couple preferred our privacy. Our first visit to Isle of Wight. Good walks and scenery and beaches. Not a lot to do if it rains and not really that many places to eat locally at a reasonable price - especially if busy. Visit Jurassic Jim in the town as he is very entertaining!

brilliant family run hotel.Bill & Jackie treated us like they had known us all our lives.Cant remember the last time i was offered tea or coffee on arrival. We stayed for six nights on half board and it flashed by.Nothing was too much trouble.Superb home cooked food by Jackie.Had the best steak pie ever. After dinner tea and coffee was served in the lounge and made for a good opportunity to meet the other guests and it works.pleasant room with a comfortable mattress which is a priority for us.If you are a sports fan you tend to end your stay as fervent West Ham United supporters. We will return and hopefully soon. Thanks Bill & Jackie.
