May I thank Alan & Sue the owners of The Miclaran for the genuine welcome we received on our arrival, the house with outstanding views across Sandown bay and a garden that displays a labour of love well done Alan. Rooms are very clean tidy with tray facilities of tea coffee chocolate ect, shower room supplied with hand wash, shower gel body lotions ect to the standards of a 4 star Hotel. Breakfast was excellent and well presented, dining room immaculate. Sue and Alan love The Miclaran and it comes through on all they do for the house and there guest.

Room tip: we had room 6 friends room 2 with sea view I think there is at least 6 ask Sue when you contact.

If you're going to the Isle of Wight make sure you book the Miclaran. Alan and Sue are wonderful hosts. The rooms are all well appointed and most have fabulous sea views.
Breakfast is second to none, so much so that I didn't need lunch.

Room tip: If your snoring keeps your partner awake make sure you book room 11.

This beautiful, clean well kept family run b&b was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The views out of this world. This will be our anniversary destination year after year. The cooked breakfast and help your self was gorgeous and kept us going well into the afternoon. I cannot fault them on anything. I'm so happy we picked the miclaran for our honeymoon. Can't wait to return.

Stayed here in Aug 2016 for 3 nights after a friend booked it and it really is a b/ful b&b! We had sea view rooms at the back of the b&b which blew me away as absolutely stunning!- highly recommend them. The garden (which is b/ful) also has sea views and backs onto a lovely coastal walk. The rooms were lovely and spacious and staff very friendly and helpful with a delicious cooked breakfast being served. The only thing I would change is for b/fast to be served earlier as it's served quite late (8.30am) which means you can't make an early start to catch buses etc but that is a minor detail considering it's such a b/ful and fantastic location and I'll certainly come back here again and would recommend it. Thanks for a fabulous stay! - Helena

Room tip: Sea view rooms at the back stunning!

Here on business for a couple of nights and a lovely stay.

Greeted by the owner who was very chatty and informative, really nice bloke. Had a slight issue connecting to the wifi which was quickly resolved.

Parking on the driveway, a gorgeous sea view to wake up to, good range of branded toiletries, comfy bed, room spotlessly clean, vast selection for breakfast (hot and cold), 4 minute drive to Shanklin High Street. Would stay here again without a doubt.
