“Lovely stay!”
Reviewed 20 April 2014 via mobile

Stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect. Just by the train station a short walk from the seafront, perfect little room and a very yummy breakfast. Could not have asked for more. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quaint little B&B then look no further! I was not sure at first as this was a last minute deal but I am glad I stayed here :).
We was even reimbursed on the parking levy (£1.50 for 24 hours) which was brilliant.
This is only made for people staying alone or in a couple.
Get yourself a short break to Shanklin and check in here.

Having had a reasonably long and stressful journey after work on a Friday the owners welcomed us with a glass of bucks fizz and treated us to knowledgeable advice on what to see and do on the island. This was a lovely personal touch you do not see often nowadays. The room was clean, a good size and everything you need in a central location.

Regarding the food, I opted in favour of catching up on much needed sleep for most of our stay, but my girlfriend did make it down for breakfast every day and persuaded me I could not miss out on the final day. I was not disappointed.

I recommend the Atholl Court without hesitation. The owners go out of their way to make it feel like home for the duration of your stay and frankly that does not happen often enough these days. A job thoroughly well done and I certainly look forward to returning.

Room Tip: We got one of the smaller rooms and it was still a good size. I don't think you will go wrong f...

Stayed there for a long weekend and I really enjoyed staying there. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The rooms are quiet and a good size. The breakfast was lovely with a variety of choices. The location is excellent and with in walking distance of the sea front and I would love to stay there again; a fantastic weekend.

Wow, a lovely little find. We normally prefer small hotels, so this was a change but well worth it. Even though it was the end of the season, nothing was a problem. We booked one of the larger double rooms (room 8) with a big bay window, very good quality of modern and tasteful decor throughout the room, furniture, bed, flat screen TV, leather chairs. En-suite was spacious and spotless with a power shower. Nikki made us feel very welcome, asking what we planned to do and suggesting suitable venues. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of continental or cooked

Well done , Peter & Nikki for a very welcoming B&B......and a lovely glass of Buck's Fizz to welcome us as well. Look forward to returning one day

Great welcome, room was compact but spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed in terms of hot drinks etc. Breakfast was also very good.

It's clear that Nikki and Peter care about the well-being of their guests.

10/10 for value for money in Shanklin.
