I've read a few of the Reviews on the Carlton Hotel before writing this. Richard and I simply cannot fault Anne's Hotel. She gave us very warm welcome in spite of the time being 9.15pm. Anne arranged our ferry tickets as part of the deal for staying in her hotel which helped us make our final decision to stay with her. And what a good choice. We sat down to simply scrumptious breakfasts, summoned by the ringing of an handbell, and were looked after very caringly by our young lady-in-waiting who made sure we had plenty of tea, etc, etc and even apologised for keeping us waiting when we all descended for our breakfasts at 8.30 am!! What more could you ask for??? Our room was very comfortable with our bath and masses of hot water. Richard and I cannot recommend this Hotel more highly and would willingly stay again. An huge thank you to Anne and her staff.
