Very welcoming staff, rooms are spotlessly clean, nicely located a short walk from the old town & the seafront with plenty of places to eat within a short walk, not forgetting the great breakfast, would deffinately visit the Kenbury again.

This was a random choice for three days in the Isle of Wight; and we were delighted. The welcome was efficient and friendly. It is in a quiet location, a discrete but easy distance from the seafront. The room was quite large with a view to the sea. It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed plus a few extras like a small refrigerator - together with a supply of fresh milk for our morning tea! The breakfasts were brilliant: a large selection including very nicely cooked English breakfast, and fresh fruit salad. Just right for us!

Room Tip: You just need to ask when booking.

What to say about the breakfast. One of the best I have ever had and I know breakfasts. So much choice to be had served in a airy breakfast room. Best experience of a B&B stay we have had.
Warm welcome, even though we were a little early.
Can`t faulty the quality and cleanliness of our room. We had requested a bigger room and were not disappointed. Bathroom was small, but had everything required. Two comfy chairs enabled us to enjoy our evenings relaxing in front of the TV once back from our evening meal.
We also had the benefit of a "dressing room" within which were the coffee/tea facilities and a bonus of a fridge to which our hosts supplied fresh milk for teas and coffees. No shortage of complimentary tea and coffee in our room (a rarity) with the very kind offer of more supplies should we need them along the hall from reception.
What to say about the "Breakfast"? Can`t fault it! A good choice of Croissants, Cereals, Juices, Fresh Fruit Salad, yogurts, toasts toppings and above all a breakfast cooked to your particular choice. If you have a dietary problem, please let them know, we forgot but, they came up trumps and was much appreciated.
This B&B is not close to the front, and a little walk up hill, so keep in mind! Parking good.
All in all this was a great place to stay, once welcomed, we were left to our own devices, with a key supplied for us to come and go as we pleased but knowing a helping hand was there if we needed it. Hope to return.

Room Tip: One little tip Ladies, take a make up mirror, lovely mirrors in our room, but non conducive to appl...

one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in. Good parking, quiet location, 15 mins walk to shops/high st, restaurants and beach. Lovely room, well fitted, very comfortable bed, good power shower, fridge in room, free bottled water every day, superb breakfast with linen tablecloth and napkins and local preserves - just so much choice

Room Tip: high floor garden view room

We wanted a comfortable place to stay that was close to, but not on top of, pubs, restaurants and the seafront of Shanklin. We found The Kenbury to be ideal. Lovely owners, pleasant and helpful staff and a well appointed room were complimented by a very good breakfast with options for all.

Myself and my wife visited the kenbury to visit family on the Isle of Wight and was our 1st wedding anniversary. We were recommended the kenbury by family and gave it ago. We were not disappointed. I had arranged for flowers and wine to be in our room for when we arrived and true to karens word they were all there when we arrived. The room was spotless very comfortable and the breakfast s were fantastic and plentiful. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We will be returning and have booked already. Please visit the kenbury you will not be disappointed.
