Nice friendly hotel, run by Steve and Dawn. Our room was large but the shower room was small and you had to squeeze by the shower cubicle to get to the toilet and the towel rail was behind the cubicle! The room was warm and the bed was comfortable. There was a kettle for tea and coffee making but twice we were not left any coffee sachets. We had to get some from Reception. The quality of the food was excellent but was not keen on eating a Carvery every night. The meat was very tender and the vegetables were fresh and well cooked. There was an alternative meal on the second night. The breakfast was very good. A "Full English" with lots of choice. The entertainment was very good every night. Didn't like coming back into the hotel in the afternoon to be greeted with the smell of a " Sunday Roast"! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The indoor swimming pool was small but the water was warm.

From the moment we arrived on the JUST GO HOLIDAY coach, Steve the Owner of the hotel made us all very welcome. He was always available if needed. The staff were very helpful, always cheerful and willing to go the extra mile. The food was SUPERB!!!! No complaint whatsoever. The rooms were clean and tidy.
My only request is to Steve - to please attach the shower to the wall in room no. 15.
Steve was very open about the fact that there are no facilities for disabled people which I appreciated.
The evening entertainment was fantastic - varied and excellent.
Thank you Steve, family and staff for a wonderful holiday.

Great welcome to this family run hotel, service from all staff was warm and down to earth, location great, and not to far from lift to seaside. Entertainment at hotel was amazing, food was great and rooms were immaculate. Really enjoyed my stay.

Just returned from this hotel after a week end break with Just Go holidays. Congratulations to Just Go and The Holliers for giving us a lovely break despite the awful weather. Here is all you need to know: 1. Just Go Holidays - prompt, very clean coach, nice friendly driver and a very good price! 2. The Holliers - run by a lovely family, Steve, Dawn and their son. We had a lovely big, clean partly refurbished room looking out on to the village. The food was excellent starting with a full english serve yourself breakfast. Evening meal was a carvery with a good choice of meats and veggies. Bar Prices a little steep but we could live with that all things considered. The entertainment was "cruise ship" acts ( 3 different singers on 3 different nights) all covering anything from Adele to ZZ Top! A very enjoyable break and we have no hesitation in recommending this hote and coach company.

From start to end just brill, from our coach driver to Hotel, staff and as for the food you cannot fault it,we had a wonderful time thanks to all. The room we stayed in was on the first floor which made our life easier as there is no lift, but that wouldnt have been a big problem.I cannot wait to have another holiday here.

Stayed at Holliers March 8-11, found room 30 comfortable, adequate and warm as well as being very quiet. Everything appeared to be clean and well maintained if a little dull and dark in the Piano Bar but that is a matter of individual taste and not a criticism. The carvery was impressive but I should have liked a choice which was offered on our second night, smoked haddock, cabbage and mash which was a bit weird. Shop bought desserts uninspiring but bearing in mind the price and overall approach to service to quibble seems churlish. Make sure you ask for the first floor if like me you struggle with stairs, there are lots of them!!
