You just can't fault the Westbury Lodge. I have never stayed anywhere that was kept cleaner, it was beautiful. The owners were very friendly without being intrusive and the food was absolutely great. Very well positioned for getting around the island, only 5-10 minutes walk to the bus station and you can get anywhere from there. Short walk into town and shops.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are excellent.

We had a 4 night stay at Westbury Lodge and loved every minute! The room was spotlessly clean with lots of thoughtful personal touches to add to our enjoyment. Dave and Kathy were friendly and helpful at all times, always ready to advise about trips or places to eat. The property is situated a few minutes from the cliff top walk and is near the shops and amenities. We had a lovely cup of tea and chat to welcome us as well.
Breakfast was always done to perfection, again with personal touches added, such as extra fruit and seeds in the muesli! If we don't come back, we will be recommending Westbury Lodge to all our friends.

We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and the hosts, Dave and Kath ensured that we had all the information about Shanklin, places to eat and places to visit. Our bedroom was nicely decorated and well appointed. Lots of little touches here and there that make your stay memorable for all the right reasons. Breakfast in the bright sunny dinning room was wonderful. Lots of choices of cereals, fruit, toast and, of course, a variety of cooked breakfasts. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Spotlessly clean throughout. Can recommend the wonderful cooked breakfasts, good job it is near the Coastal Path as plenty of walking needed to walk it off! Both Dave and Kath very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely B&B. Large room, very clean with lovely shower en suite. Very warm welcome from owner and very helpful when needed. Wonderful breakfasts especially the Full English which was done to perfection. Well done chef! Very convenient for cliff top walks and the Esplanade. Shanklin village was only a short walk away. Highly recommended

We had a 3 night stay and everything was first class. We had a lovely large, bright room which included everything we needed, including bathrobes which I have only had before at the Hilton! The owner Kath couldn't have been more helpful with advice about where to eat and how to get around. Breakfasts were wonderful and the croissants melted in the mouth. Very much to be recommended.

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the westbury lodge. We have stayed there quite a few times now and we are never dissapointed. The room we had was lovely and very clean, as is the whole house. The breakfast was delicious compliments to the chef Dave. Kath and Dave should be very proud of themselves. Hope to return next year would love to come back again this year if we could. The hotel is situated in a good position between the seafront and the old village.
