“Faultless towers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 September 2012 via mobile

Stayed here for 4 nights this week, absolutely faultless, the rooms are immaculate, spotlessly clean and a good size. Breakfast was high quality with plenty of choice, and the owners were so helpful and obliging. Would definitely stay again if in the area. The reviews are spot on.

Stayed here in August 2012, the hotel was lovely and welcoming. Dave and Kathy were very friendly and helpful, Kathy sorted the ferry crossing out for us a good few months before the holiday The room was lovely and spotless and very cosy, and we would stay again. The food ona morning was so filling we did not need to eat until tea time, Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We spent a four day break at Westbury Lodge- our fifth visit in as many years - and once again, we were delighted with the welcome, the facilities and the excellent breakfasts. The hosts - Kath and Dave - are lovely people who care very much about their business and are always ready with advice and guidance regarding local restaurants and locations. The accommodation is excellent adn situated just a short walk to the cliff top and beach front. We were in room 6, an excellent superior room with a very large en-suite. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and the service cannot be faulted. We will be back again......and again! Terrific value for money. Jean and Doug Tierney, Romford, Essex.

Room Tip: Any of the doubles are fine.

You just can't fault the Westbury Lodge. I have never stayed anywhere that was kept cleaner, it was beautiful. The owners were very friendly without being intrusive and the food was absolutely great. Very well positioned for getting around the island, only 5-10 minutes walk to the bus station and you can get anywhere from there. Short walk into town and shops.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are excellent.

We had a 4 night stay at Westbury Lodge and loved every minute! The room was spotlessly clean with lots of thoughtful personal touches to add to our enjoyment. Dave and Kathy were friendly and helpful at all times, always ready to advise about trips or places to eat. The property is situated a few minutes from the cliff top walk and is near the shops and amenities. We had a lovely cup of tea and chat to welcome us as well.
Breakfast was always done to perfection, again with personal touches added, such as extra fruit and seeds in the muesli! If we don't come back, we will be recommending Westbury Lodge to all our friends.

We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and the hosts, Dave and Kath ensured that we had all the information about Shanklin, places to eat and places to visit. Our bedroom was nicely decorated and well appointed. Lots of little touches here and there that make your stay memorable for all the right reasons. Breakfast in the bright sunny dinning room was wonderful. Lots of choices of cereals, fruit, toast and, of course, a variety of cooked breakfasts. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Spotlessly clean throughout. Can recommend the wonderful cooked breakfasts, good job it is near the Coastal Path as plenty of walking needed to walk it off! Both Dave and Kath very welcoming and helpful.
