“Pictures do not do this house justice!”
Reviewed 24 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We stayed here, an extended family of 5 adults and 1 child in August. The pictures on this website do not do it justice at all, you open the front door and its "WOW". A long hallway with 2 bedrooms (all bedrooms have en-suite). At the end of the hall a lovely large kitchen, with a dining room and sitting area as well as a spacious living room, enough room for all of us if we needed our own space.
Upstairs are 2 further bedrooms, with one of them having a lovely balcony which we sat on most mornings with a cup of coffee, enjoying the morning sun.
There is also a washing machine/tumble dryer/dishwasher, all things to make the holiday easier.
If you go out of the back gate, there is a path that leads you down to the beach, left for Sandown and right for Shanklin. Although I would say that the steps down to the beach may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties (certainly keep you fit though!)
The garden had a large family table & chairs, with lovely fruit trees, apples, plums and even a fig tree which you are invited to eat the fruit and even take some home.
There was also a little cafe a couple of doors down (via the back gate), although we never got the opportunity to use it.
The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay as well as it being in a great location.
My only niggle was the main bedroom upstairs did not have a stand up shower but
a very small problem that we managed to get around.
If we came back to the island, without a doubt, we would definitely book this house.

“Lovely home in a peaceful location”
Reviewed 4 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

If you're looking at this property as it suits your needs, then book it with out hesitation. We had a fabulous holiday, and will happily return.
We were a family of six, baby, parents, uncle, grandparents and great grandma. Once the who was having (or not having the pink room) debate was decided , we had a great time.
Lovely location right on the coastal path(straight out of the back gate)
The house is large and spacious, and has been very well designed and extended. The view from the peaceful balcony is fantastic. There are 2 loungers and chairs on the balcony with cushions provided.
The rooms are all spacious, with their own bathrooms. The cot included bedding and there is a stair gate in one of the wardrobes to use.
The garden which is so peaceful and relaxing has a bench table and 6 nice chairs for relaxing as well. There is a BBQ in the shed for your use. The garden is fully enclosed and suitable for any size dog.
TV is a modern 3D TV, (only 1 pair of 3D glasses though). Blueray DVD player and a selection of DVDs available. Wii also there, but we couldn't find the bar.
Well equipped kitchen for cooking and preparing meals.
Previous guests leave a selection of tinned food, herbs, spices, cooking oil, rice and pasta to get you started. Sugar Coffee and Tea selection there for you to use and top up as necessary.
Milk and biscuits were also a welcome gift from the owners.
Morrisons supermarket Is a 5 minute drive away, a corner shop is a 5-10 minute walk.

I know that this is a review of the property however the cafe two houses down on the coastal path is an intrinsic part of the holiday, the cafe has recently had new owners Liam and Clare, this is brilliant and make a difference to your holiday. They are open from 8-5 every day and serve breakfasts, lunch, cream teas, ice creams and delicious home made cakes. You can sit out on the cliff top enjoying the views. Dog friendly as well .

Very few
The master bathroom only has a hand held shower.
The blinds could do with being blackout blinds, as being on holiday we didn't really want to wake up with the sunshine at 5am, but this is a personal preference.
The fridge needs careful managing and is a bit on the small side for the size of the property (we suggest replacing it with a larger one when it needs it).
A blender would be a useful addition to the kitchen equipment (especially as the property is baby friendly).
If eight were staying there are not enough dining chairs for everyone to sit at the table at once.

I hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we all did.
