Description: We are proud to work with a dedicated team of local Island Suppliers. Our meat is sourced from local farms such as Kemphill and Dunsbury by Island Foods Butchers. Our vegetable supplier "5 a day" is based in Ventnor High Street who works with an array of local farmers.. All produce is local and seasonal wherever possible, some grown in Ventnor itself. The majority of our fish is caught and supplied by Ventnor Haven Fishery, mostly caught the morning it arrives on your plate. Our mussels are rope grown in the River Exe, Devon. All our dry goods are supplied by the Island company Medina Foods. Gourmet Mushrooms are grown on the Island, as well as the tastiest tomatoes courtesy of The Tomato Stall. Our wines are supplied by Majestic Wines based in Wootton, giving us a diverse range of quality wines for your enjoyment. Locally baked bread comes from Sarah's House on Ventnor High Street. Thank you for making our chef's job that little bit easier!

“Pretty little place”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

This is the second time we have visited the restaurant as it is number one on here for Ventnor. The prices are high but the service cannot be faulted. Lovely people and well deserving of the custom. I had the half lobster which was yummy and my partner has the mussels. Both were specials and good sized portions.

“around the world...but have the local catch!”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

A fairly quiet evening when we were there but staff seem so happy and tea my that I would think even when busy the service is spot on. Fabulous selection - could have dithered for another 10 mins! Local fish and shellfish treated with respect - my scallops with giroles, salad perfect, sweet potatoe chips the ideal complement but not needed for substance as mains portions seem to be a healthy size. Starter was crab cakes with chili, recommended. Bill was about £75 for 2 with a modest bottle . Will book again .

“Great little restaurant!”
Reviewed 15 July 2014 via mobile

This is a very good restaurant, the staff were welcoming and helpful and the food was high quality. We went on Seafood Sunday so could not have the full menu but what we had was well cooked and nicely presented. The only negative was the limited choice of wine by the glass....one White, one red and a rose and the lack of any draught beer. However, this did not spoil a very pleasant experience.

“Quality world cuisine & excellent services”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

I made a reservation, because I know how busy this place gets & took my parents for dinner, when they came to the Island last month. They travel extensively around the world & so I new that there would be something that they really liked from the superbly varied menu.
My father ordered the Moroccan Lamb Tagine & reckoned it was on par with the best he had when touring through Morocco.
We had an early reservation because our daughter is only five & the staff went out of their way to accommodate us.
As with everything you get what you pay for & what you get is, excellent food, excellent service & excellent value for money !
