We have visited Phileas Fogg on two occasions now and both times have been perfect - it is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The restaurant is simple and unpretentious - the food and service does the talking. It has the feel and decor of a seaside place, and is spacious and airy. The staff are polite, smiley and friendly and the food is extremely delicious. The menu seems carefully selected and is changed regularly to keep it interesting, but there is always something on there to suit any palate. On my first visit I ate the Thai fishcake and it was superb. Whilst the menu is inspired by food from around the world, the ingredients are locally sourced, so this also appeals to me as I support local economy. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
