Not so old, in fact a very modern shop selling goods at the higher end of the price range. Fairly good quality tea rooms attached. Free car park for the village is a bonus.

Oh my goodness - if you're looking for a delicious lunch, cream tea or coffee and cakes this is the place! The only problem will be what to choose! Make sure you're hungry when you go cos the portions are generous. It is situated next to a large car park so very convenient for eating here, visiting the gift shop, and exploring the rest of Godshill's delights.

The Old Smithy is located at one end of the village and has a huge carpark making access easy - and enabling you to visit the rest of the Godshill attractions nearby without parkign issues.
The cafe/restaurant here is pretty good, with good food, reasonable prices and great selection - well worth visiting for a snack or even lunch.
The shop is stuffed full of some fabulous clothes (designer labels) plus loads of touristy bits and pieces too, at decent prices - easy to while away 30 or 40 minutes mooching through all they have to offer
